Pool Policy change: Doors leading out to the pool will be locked until approximately 5 minutes prior to program start. This will insure that a lifeguard is in place for your saftey.

promoting health, fitness, and enjoyment for individuals of all

About
the Aquatic Center
- The Bridgman Aquatic Center
was completed in 1974 under the authority of the Bridgman Public
Schools Board of Education.
- The pool serves all of
Berrien County, and the surrounding communities.
- Our facility is a six lane,
25 yard competitive pool with an attached 12 foot deep diving
well and a 1m competitive diving board.
- The facility can accommodate
approximately 225 patrons and 350 spectators. Both locker rooms
include a private sauna, showers, and dressing areas.
- Water quality is monitored
by a National Swimming Pool Foundation certified operator.
- Training equipment is available
for adult lap and competitive swimming classes at no extra
cost. Handicap stairs are available.
- Recreational equipment
including water polo and water basketball are available.

to Quality
At the Bridgman Aquatic Center, we pride ourselves by specializing in personalized
and individualized program development and evaluation. Creating a safe and
caring environment is a constant priority.
Even if you are not a swimmer, there are programs where you can be successful.
Aqua jogging, walking, aerobics, and the arthritis classes require no swimming
ability. We can also provide access to the Bridgman High School weight
room.
Courses, schedules, and fees are designed with your busy schedule in mind.
There are no membership fees. We offer innovative programs with instructors
and coaches committed to quality.
Pool staff members are trained and certified by the following organizations:
American Red Cross, National
Swimming Pool Foundation, The Arthritis Foundation, USA Swimming,
and the American Swimming Coaches Association.
