Thank you for your interest in Bridgman Public Schools. We hope that this web site is a useful source of information about our school district.

All of our schools have been accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) for school improvement.  In addition, Bridgman Elementary was selected as a Michigan Blue Ribbon Exemplary School in 2001.  Each of our schools has made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) as required by the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) and has achieved a grade of "A" on the Michigan School Report Card.  Our district MEAP and MME test scores are consistently among the top schools in Berrien County.  We are proud that 289 students from 11 different school districts have selected Bridgman Public Schools as their Schools of Choice district.

Summer Office Hours

The central administration office will be open daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Please use the parking lot in the back of the high school and follow the signs to enter the building during construction.  School building offices will be open until June 22nd.  The Bridgman Elementary School office has been temporarily relocated to F.C. Reed Middle school during the renovation project.

Schools of Choice Openings

Schools of Choice openings by grade level for the 2010-11 school year are now available on this web site. Click on the "Admissions" tab and then follow the link to obtain a Schools of Choice application form.  The application deadline is June 15, 2010.  However, additional applications will be accepted until all openings are filled.  Interested students may be placed on a waiting list for the next available opening.  You may also contact the administration office at 466-0271 for more information.

Bond Project Update

A building Design Team and a district Steering Committee have approved preliminary designs for Bridgman Elementary and site work at all three buildings.  All parking lots and new roofs at BES & RMS will be completed this summer.  A new telecommunications system will also be installed.  Parking at all three sites will be very limited during construction.  The Bridgman Elementary office will be moved to F.C.
