CONFERENCE TRACK RESULTS

BOYS - 2nd PLACE IN THE LAKELAND!

The Bridgman boys track team took home six first place medals in
the league meet last night.  Ryan Jedlicka was the conference
champion in the 200m, Owen Gast in the shot put, Tony Beilman,
Andrew Cox, Nick Wheeler and Ever Krettek were conference champs
in the 3200m relay, second team all conference was Evan Krettek
in the 1600m and the 3200m.  Tony, Nick, Even and Ryan were also
second team all conference in the 1600m relay.  Overall, the
boys finished second in the league meet tying them for second
place in the league with Brandywine.  Great job on an excellent
season.

The girls track team competed at the Lakeland Conference
Championship at Buchanan last night. The team finished 6th out
of 8 teams, improving their overall record. Placing for the lady
bees were Rachel Swords, Lisa Bowman, Jessica Forker, the 400
meter relay team of Lisa Bowman, Emily Ulrath, Kelsey Wilson,
and Shirley Jackson. Running her personal best in the 3200
meters was Jenny Watson. Earning all-conference honors were
Shirley Jackson in the 100 dash, the 1600 meter relay of Kelsey
Wilson, Emily Ulrath, Jessica Forker, and Grace Roeder, and our
conference champion in the 400 meter dash with a time a 1:04.08 -
Grace Roeder. Congratulations girls on a great season!

REGIONALS:

The boys track team finished 6th overall at regionals this
weekend.  Medaling were Steve Yeske, Owen Gast, Nate Foster,
Tony Beilman, Nick Wheeler, Even Krettek, Andrew Cox, Justin
Weber, Matt Kading, Tim Foster, Cameron Magro and Ryan
Jedlicka.  Owen Gast qualified for state in the shot put, Tony
Beilman, Nick Wheeler, Andrew Cox and Evan Krettek qualified for
state in the 3200m relay.  Evan Krettek qualified for state in
the 3200m and Ryan Jedlicka qualified for state in both the 100m
and the 200m.  Excellent job guys.

The girls varsity track team had a strong showing at the
regional met on Saturday at Centreville finishing 11th of 16
teams.  Medaling for the Bees were Rachel Swords, 5th place in
the shot put.  The girls 800m relay team of Lisa Bowman, Emily
Ulrath, Kelsey Wilson and Shirley Jackson were 8th.  Jessica
Forker earned a 4th place finish in the 1600 meter run and a 3rd
place in 800 meter run.  Grace Roeder earned a 3rd place finish
in the 400 meter dash and the 1600 meter relay team of Kelsey
Wilson, Emily Ulrath, Jessica Forker and Grace Roeder finished
8th.  Great job ladies!
